The making of
Square-Peg…
From the initial creative sparks to writing, directing, designing, filming, editing and acting in- Square-Peg is entirely my own.
Below are some pre & post production insights to the making of Square-Peg…

Colour theory and the way in which colour evokes emotion within an audience is important to me as a director!
The crossover of art and film was huge when in the pre-production stage of creating Square-Peg
A story-board is key element of the development of ideas for me!
As I have a photographic memory- I tend to know what a film will more or less look like before it is made.

The power of Square-Peg was held mainly through the minutiae- the small details in costumes, the colour pallet and composition. Even down to the red packeted chocolate- red being the theme colour and chocolate being the food of love. In the scene where this is used- the Square-Peg’s twin is offering love and hope to her.
